Is it worth it over a basic scoop?
If you scoop daily and the bin is in another room, yes: clumps go straight into a lined bucket, so there's no carrying, no dripping and no open bag by the box. If your bin sits right next to the box, a basic scoop may be all you need.
Which litters does it work with?
It's made for clumping litters: clay, tofu and mixed. The slots (0.6-1.2 cm) let loose litter fall back while clumps stay on the head and slide into the bag.
What bags do I use?
It comes with one roll of bags that sits in the handle. When it runs out, refill it with a small roll of bags that fits the holder.
Does it hide the smell?
It keeps the clumps in a bag inside the bucket until you tie it off, which is tidier than an open bag. It isn't a sealed odour bin, so empty it daily.
How do I clean it?
Lift off the scoop head and rinse it with warm soapy water. Wipe the bucket inside when you change the bag.
